Wear comfortable clothes suited to the weather:

- A cap or hat, sunglasses
- Sunscreen
For sunset or night trips, bring an extra layer as temperatures drop quickly at sea.
What should I bring on board?
Nothing specific! Our trips last between 45 minutes and 1h45 max (up to 3h for the dolphin watching cruise). Just remember:

🌤Weather, health & accessibility
What happens in case of bad weather?
In case of unfavourable weather (strong wind, rough sea, storm), KapMer may cancel or reschedule the trip for safety reasons. You will be notified by text or phone.
You can then choose between:
- A reschedule on another date
- A full refund
No cancellation fee will be charged if the decision comes from KapMer due to weather.
What if I get seasick?
Our catamarans (Barracuda and Aquavista) are particularly stable and greatly reduce seasickness. If you are sensitive:
- Take an anti-seasickness tablet 30 minutes before boarding (over the counter at pharmacies)
- Stay outside on the upper deck (fresh air helps)
- Look at the horizon, avoid reading during the crossing
- Choose shorter crossings (Shuttles, Short Cruise)
Are sea trips suitable for young children?
Yes, most KapMer trips (Three-Port Cruise, shuttles, Short Cruise) are perfectly suited for families with young children.
Babies under 3 sail free.
Only the Dolphin Watching Cruise is not recommended for children under 5, due to its duration and distance from shore.
Do you take passengers with reduced mobility on board?
We would sincerely love to welcome everyone on board, and our boats are fully equipped for that.
Unfortunately, the quays and pontoons of Argelès-sur-Mer, Collioure and Port-Vendres do not yet allow safe boarding for passengers with reduced mobility. This is beyond our control, and we very much hope the port infrastructure will evolve soon.
If you have any doubt or would like to discuss it, please get in touch — we will do everything we can to find a solution.
Are dogs allowed on board?
Yes, dogs on a lead are welcome on most KapMer trips (except dolphin watching cruises).
No extra charge for small dogs. A muzzle may be required for category 1 or 2 breeds. Please bring a water bowl for your companion.
